The New Brunswick Free Public Library presents its 12th Annual Photography Contest and Exhibit in 2019! The theme this year is “Love and Unity.” The contest submission form and more information can be found at www.nbfpl.org/photocontest. (Deadline for contest submission is May 10th, 2019.)
Along with the contest, the library offers free photography workshops presented by professional photographers. All three workshops will be held in the library’s Carl T. Valenti Community Room.
On this evening, the workshop will be “The Essentials of Digital Photography” led by Princeton Photo Workshop.
- Do you love to take pictures? Do you want to learn how to make your pictures better? We’ll explore the six pillars to becoming a better photographer, with whatever camera is in your hand. You will leave with more confidence to take better pictures.
Time will be allotted for Q&A at each workshop, so bring your ideas and questions! To attend any of these programs, please register at the library’s Reference Desk, or call 732-745-5108, ext 20.
Grant funding has been provided by the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders through a grant provided by New Jersey State Council on the Arts / Department of State.
