Back by popular demand, this workshop will enhance participant’s abilities to create more expressive images of people in their natural and studio environments. Learn how to communicate with and compose the subject, and how to work with props and backgrounds. Participants will be encouraged to question and challenge the very definition of the portrait; how it is made and how it functions. Participants must provide their own DSLR cameras. Portable or studio flash and laptop for downloading images are optional. This workshop is open to beginners and intermediate students and is limited to eight participants.
