The Camerata consists of young, motivated musicians who are a mirror image of the international world through which it travels. Its over 20 nationalities reflect their various cultures, but all are united by the universal language of music. Over 50 years of orchestra history have matured the Camerata into a tradition-filled chamber orchestra. Joining the Camerata for this special performance will be German violinist and Grammy® Award-winner Anne-Sophie Mutter.

Mutter launched her musical career at the Lucerne Festival in 1979. Since then, she has performed all over the world as both a solo artist and accompanist. She began studying piano at the age of five and has been an unstoppable force in music ever since. Performing both traditional and modern works, she is renowned throughout the world for both her chamber and orchestral music. She is the recipient of the 2008 International Ernst von Siemens Music Prize, as well as four Grammy® Awards.
