Enjoy lively, interactive storytelling in this all-new FREE series for children ages 3-8 and their folks.

Dylan Pritchett shares his folktales with thousands of children and adults throughout the country in more than 200 performances a year. As the president of the National Association of Black Storytellers, Dylan is dedicated to passing on the African oral tradition, presenting cultural folktales with a positive message that cross cultural boundaries. A native of Williamsburg, VA, Dylan has been a performer and consultant for a number of historical broadcast documentaries, including the recent PBS biography of Thomas Jefferson, View from the Mountaintop. He has recorded several albums of folktales and created the voices of many historical characters for museum recordings and exhibits, including the Smithsonian Museum, Colonial Williamsburg, Monticello, National Oregon Trial Interpretive Center, Museum of the Confederacy, and many others. Dylan was the State Theatre's 1997 Bristol-Myers Squibb Artist-in-Residence.
