America’s Brightest Stars.

Figaro, the clever barber and jack-of-all trades, is here, there, and everywhere, helping Count Almaviva steal away the lovely Rosina from her fussy old guardian, Dr. Bartolo. Outrageous disguises, bold schemes, and a missing ladder all figure into the plot, but the real reason to see The Barber of Seville is to revel in Rossini's dazzling melodies. From the memorable overture to Figaro's bravura "Largo al factotum," to the triumphant finale, the music sparkles with wit and imagination. Tri-Cities Opera offers up a winning cast of fresh young talent in a full-scale production with orchestra and chorus. The opera is performed in Italian with English supertitles.
